“Time warp”

Today’s Cars in the hood are a from Peter Bashaw who now lives in Australia.  But while he lived in the South Bay and on his walks he would photograph cars.   He shared a few photos of the same cars but a few years apart.  I will not be going into the details of the cars, but I think the chances of seeing the same cars in the same place some years apart is very cool.  I found it particularly intesting that the 1956 and (2) 1960 Chevys were parked in the exact same places some years apart.

Cars in the Hood, as I was going over my photos I found these two sets of photos that are years apart when I took them if you look closely at houses, colors, and greenery you see the differences, signed Peter.
It looks like 400 block of N. Maria street looking north at Diamond St.  Corkey

From Peter, sometimes years apart I would discover I had at sometime in the past had taken a photo of a street find when walking around the South Bay.  I think this one to was in Redondo or Hermosa areas in the late 1990s or early 2000s.  I forget, a fixer upper fixed if I got my sequence right. Corkey, are correct about the location being N. Maria.  The 60 Chevys were near Redondo HS at the end of the street. These are not the only examples I have of this coincidence.

Peter, thanks again for sharing these unique coincidences.  Thanks for riding along. Frank
