1969 Volkswagen Westfalia

Last updated on September 5, 2021

Today’s van is the last in the series of Jim’s cars.  It is a 1969 Volkswagen Westfalia that Jim bought in 1970 from the original owner.  It is powered by a 1600 cc with 57 HP.  this Westfalia has seen many camping trips. The first was north to Canada, east across Canada, south to Boston, and back to Los Angeles.  Before the Westfalia Jim had a new type 2 VW bus with a sunroof.  The ”Low and Slow” on the rear engine compartment is Jim’s little joke.  Jim had the Westfalia painted in the current colors about 2 years ago.  These are great campers and increasing in value.  This one is a member of the family!
