1967 – 1969 Daimler

Today’s car is a 1967 – 1969 Daimler finished in Old English White.  The Daimler V8-250 is a four-door saloon which was produced by The Daimler Co. Limited in the United Kingdom from 1962 to 1969.  It was the first Daimler car to be based on a Jaguar Mark 2 platform, the first with a unibody, and the last to feature a Daimler engine after the company was bought from the Birmingham Small Arms Company by Jaguar Cars.  The engine is the hemispherical head V8 designed by Edward Turner.  The license plate 1953 RMS was confusing?  1953 Royal Mail Ship?  Great car you do not see many Daimlers.  Enjoy! Thanks for riding along. Frank
