1954 Pontiac Chieftain

Todays Car is a 1954 Pontiac Chieftain 4 door sedan finished in Black and what looks to be Arlington Maroon. This is a street spot that looks mildly modified in a lowrider style. The car is lowered, has 14 inch Dayton wire wheels, windshield sun visor, removed front and rear bumper guards and a set of interesting rear view mirrors. It is powered by a 248.9 cu in L-head 8-cylinder making 122 horsepower. Transferring that power through a 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission. This one has power steering.

1954 Pontiacs have the distinction of the first production car in the US to have an air conditioning system in the modern sense with in-dash controls.

Great street spot that needs some love $$$$. Thanks for riding along. Frank
