1941 Ford Woody Wagon

Last updated on September 5, 2021

Today’s car is a 1941 Ford 2 door Custom Woody Wagon owned by Gary Boyd. It is finished in warm Dark Highland Green, which is a 2001 Ford F150 pickup color. The interior is done in Light Tan Leather and carpets are in a darker shade of Tan. It has a glide seat which the seat cushion moves both fore and aft independently from the seat back to maintain back support. It has a tilt steering column with a grant steering wheel. The interior was competed by Santy’s Upholstery in Hawthorne, CA. Iron Mountain Woodworks in San Pedro, CA built the custom exquisite woody body out of Maple. It is powered by a Ford 302 ci with a performance cam from Comp Cams and Ford GT40 heads. Transferring that power through a Ford C4, 3-speed automatic transmission and delivering that power to the rear wheels through a Ford 8 inch rear axle. The American Racing wheels look right at home on this car. The front suspension is from Fat Man Fabrications with disc brakes to help slow this baby down and power steering for getting into those tight parking spots. Gary does most of the work on his cars from his garage. This eye catching 1941 Ford Woody is just stunning. Thanks for riding along. Frank.

Gary told me that he is ready to sell this beauty. If you are interested send me a email and I will connect the 2 of you up.

I love this shot.
You know you have to appreciate Kids. A friend of ours, Jerry, brought his daughter Mia to the Marina del Rey’s Car and Coffee. Kids see things that we don’t! From her perspective she saw the bug collection on Gary’s radiator. 💕
